The Hebrew word for God is Elohim. The word Elohim is plural, but it is often used with a singular meaning. His most sacred name is Yahweh (Jehovah).

God is a Triune Spirit: the Father is the Head, the Son is the living Word, and the Holy Spirit is the Breath (life-giving Spirit) of God. He is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. After you confess your Sin and receive salvation, the Holy Spirit comes upon you, you're adopted and become a new creation (born again)!
The Bible teaches that God is the Creator and source of all life: He created space, time, the universe, angels, mankind, and every kind of creature. He has always existed. God has no beginning and no end. Jesus stated, "Man does not live by bread alone but by every Word that proceeds out of the mouth of God." Matthew 4:4
Christians believe If you've been chosen (received the Holy Spirit through adoption), you have eternal security and eternal life. Because He will not and cannot ever leave you. Thus, you are a true Child of the living God and heir to all things with Christ. As such, you are part of the Bride of Christ and spiritual royalty π.
Christians believe in the resurrection of the dead. One Bible Scripture reads in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, "13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words."
Whether you believe in a divine being such as God or not, the thought of life after death and eternity can be very comforting. Especially after living a hard life here on earth. Christianity offers much more than just religion. It offers hope and a deep understanding of who we are, where we came from, and what we will one day become if we choose to believe and follow Christ.
GOD IS LOVE
Psalm 40:5
Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.
